From the Bedside to Executive Leadership
We’re living in challenging times - full of uncertainty and stress. When you’re facing a medical issue on top of that, it can simply feel like too much to handle. After years of direct patient care and executive leadership, I’ve returned to where I’m needed most: helping families navigate the system so they don’t have to go through it alone.
A Legacy of Excellence
I began my career as a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I learned that healthcare isn’t just IVs, dressings, and charts - it’s about the person in that bed and all that came before and all that happens to them after they leave the hospital. That realization stayed with me throughout my career in senior clinical leadership and executive roles.
In my role as Vice President of Medical Management at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, I built the clinical operations that made it the #1 health plan in the U.S. for ten consecutive years. In 2011, I established a consulting practice, advising healthcare system leaders on the strategy, design, and evaluation of top-tier health improvement efforts.
My pioneering approaches have been profiled in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and on NPR. I know how the "machine" of modern medicine works from the inside. I use that 360-degree perspective to ensure you are never "just a number."
