Before our first full session, I'll conduct a deep-dive review of your records, test results, and medications so I can be as well-prepared as possible.

In our first full session, we will:

• Discuss your current symptoms and how you've been feeling
• Address your specific questions and concerns
• Review your clinical situation in plain language
• Assess your comfort with and ability to follow your treatment plan
• Consider additional services that may be needed and covered by insurance
• Plan for upcoming appointments or contact with your doctors
• Keep loved ones in the loop with as much detail as you want to share

To prepare for your upcoming doctor's appointment, together we will:

• Review findings from our initial assessment and any new concerns
• Organize and prioritize your questions for the doctor
• Identify questions or options you might not have considered
• Clarify your goals for the upcoming appointment

I will attend your appointment virtually, joining via phone or video (e.g., FaceTime, Zoom). Together, we will:

• Make sure all your concerns are addressed
• Review what was said, what it means, and what comes next
• Review whether additional services might be indicated
• Leave with concise notes on decisions and next steps
• Keep loved ones in the loop with as much detail as you want to share

After your appointment, together we will:

• Review your treatment plan and how you are feeling
• Make sense of medical terminology and what the doctor has said
• Clarify next steps and follow-up care
• Think through options for care that align with your values
• Keep loved ones informed
